So Julian has a wife, and he was in Israel in May 2011, apparently.

In 1981 plans were made to shift an old villa by barge to land at Rawhiti. That house came from 150 Bank St in Whangarei. Julian's dodgy land acquisition - first attempt to bribe the occupier and the judge, then petition parliament to overturn the decision of the Court

This is Julian Batchelor's account of how the whenua he currently occupies at Rawhiti was acquired. This account is biased and prejudiced, and inaccurate and misleading. It can be seen that the acquisition involved attempts to bribe an upstanding Judge, the advantage of superior legal resources to achieve a desirable outcome regardless of right, and the last resort, the use of a petition to the parliament (signed by one person) to overturn the Court decision in order to achieve a blatantly unjust advantage and repugnant to the laws of natural justice for indigenous owners.

Letter to Julian Batchelor requesting information regarding works carried out at 147 Rawhiti Road:

Recent rain in the Far North has resulted in massive erosion and pollution of the seas with soil running off the land occupied by Julian Batchelor at Rawhiti, following the illegal and unconsented earthworks, dodgy plumbing and drainage, engineering, etc. Tangata whenua are becoming increasingly concerned at the damage caused by Julian Batchelor to the environment, this latest pollution and erosion is particularly difficult to tolerate due to the evasive and obstructive attitude of the Far North District Council.
